Our goal is to lose fat while retaining our fat-burning muscle. For most people an average of a 1 pound or 500 grams per week fat loss is realistic. What is your initial 3 month goal weight?
12 to 16lbs
For the 3 month goal weight you have chosen what would be your weekly weight loss?
1to 2 lbs a week
EFT can help with many things. What other goals do you have for your body or habits or other aspects?
mainly to loss weight and improve my motbilty and there fore my enjoyment of my life also to make new friends along the way.

Lynda, I am so sorry, but I didn't notice any changes to your email address from what you originally indicated. I would LOVE to send you session 1.1, but I can't. Email addresses are not allowed to have spaces in them; as you listed yours, it has two! Also, I don't think the last part is correct either. I tried taking out the spaces, and changing the com to co, but that is what didn't work either. I am willing to help you, so please don't give up. Please do recheck what you typed, character by character, and see if it needs any updating.

Hey Lynda, I believe I just found the solution. It needed to be sky.co.uk! I have sent 1.1 to this best guess of mine. Let me know if it arrives. In the meantime:

We look forward to helping you shed your extra fat and reach your other goals as well. I’m Dr. Nili’s co-administrator on this site and one of my jobs is to make sure you get your new member letters and sessions. We provide you with six special new member EFT sessions to get you started. After that you will receive the regular EFT sessions along with the other members.

After you heard your first session once (or more times) post on your blog, (click on the blog tab, middle top of page, then on add a new blog, off to the right) how the first one was for you. That way you can get support from both Dr. Nili and me and others in the group. Also, if you have questions, others probably are wondering the same thing, so your post will help others too. All the way around this is a win-win situation. The sessions will arrive according to the schedule you chose, regular or fast track. To get the most out of this group, keep posting about your reactions & experiences to them. Also, reply to other posts that move you.

Hi Lynda, A warm welcome to you. I found you as our newest member when I woke this morning. I just tried to send you session 1.1, but failed, twice. Please notice the email address you gave us has a space between the Linda & the gregory1. That is not allowed. I tried again, removing the space. Then I was told the sky.com.uk was invalid. Please recheck your email address, and adjust as necessary. Once adjusted, please let me know, and get session 1.1 off to you.

Hi Lynda and welcome to our group. It's nice that you have your friend Norma to keep you company here. You can give each other mutual support in person to add to what you will get through us.

I relate very much to your story that losing your husband, mother and sister in 3 months knocked you off your diet. I think that if you didn't gain a stone you are doing exceptionally well. I lost both parents with in a year and had several other losses concurrently. It's taken me 6 months to get back on track which I'm just now doing. First let me say I am sorry for your losses. It must be hard indeed. How long ago did they occur? And did you get any support for yourself?

Yes, it can be a challenge to cook for yourself alone. And snacking is so easy... I do have a suggestion for you. Stop buying high fat, high calorie and high glycemic index snacky foods. You can't eat what isn't in the house. Instead begin to find replacements which support your fat shedding intention and which you can eat easily.

I do something which is between major cooking and snacking: I cook prepare something simple which makes several portions and eat those things for several meals. For example, one salmon fillet, cut in 4 portions, poached, takes 3 minutes to prepare and 10 minutes to cook. A large vegetable salad will stay fresh for 2 days if you keep the tomatoes separate. A pot of brown rice takes 1 minute to put on the stove and 45 minutes to cook. A trio like that, made in 45 minutes will give you multiple meals. If you listen to something you like, something motivating while you chop the salad you will have a peaceful, semi-meditative experience plus easy meals later. Lynda, you deserve the loving care you gave to others. Now it is time indeed for you to take care of you.

Very Important Question

One of the most important questions you can ask is
“Does this suit my intentions?”

The word “this” refers to any choice you are making that affects your goals. In the store, when you have those cookies in your hand, ask yourself, “Does buying these suit my intentions?” If you are thinking of watching a movie rather than joining the EFT session, ask yourself “Does this choice suit my intentions?”

Let your higher self answer the question and make your best choice.

The more you ask the question, the more you will be guided by that smart voice that helps you maintain your commitment to yourself.

Gary Craig, EFT founder on what is EFT?


EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
is a method to release negative feelings naturally.
It is an emotional form of acupressure.
With your fingertips, you tap certain energy points on your body while you are "tuned in" to your problem.

Gary Craig, the founder of EFT:

"I hope this doesn't sound too grandiose, but I've been doing energy healing work since 1991 and my jaw still drops at the results. I've lost count of the number of phobias, panic/anxiety attacks, traumatic memories, guilt, grief and physical ailments that have been elegantly relieved (often in minutes) by this procedure. Even though EFT violates just about every conventional belief out there, the results remain remarkable. EFT isn't perfect, of course. We don't get 100%. But it usually works well and the results are sometimes spectacular. It often works where nothing else will.

We are still learning why EFT works so well. It centers around the profound effects of the body's subtle energies using the theory that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system. Accordingly, EFT is an emotional form of acupuncture except that we don't use needles. Instead, we tap with the fingertips to stimulate certain meridian energy points while the client is "tuned in" to the problem.

The subtle energies that circulate throughout the body have been largely ignored (until recently) by western scientists. As a result, our use of them for emotional and spiritual healing has been sparse at best. With EFT, however, we consider these subtle energies to be the front running cause of emotional upsets. As a result, we generate results that are FAR beyond those of conventional methods."
