I try to use a smaller plate and utensil. I also try and fill up on salad before I eat my dinner.

There is also the message of the media and advertisers. Commercial breaks are portrayed as happy eating parties on tv. It makes me hungry just watching them and that's exactly what the advertisers want.

I'm sorry that your arrangement didn't work out. I'm glad that you took it in stride. That is real progress. It sounds like the catering guy could use some eft to help him set boundaries so he won't promise things he isn't comfortable doing.

Thanks. I've done this before with great success. It's especially helpful when I add extra protein powder. I brought the leftover smoothie to a meeting this morning. They had a birthday cake for a couple of the people there. I wasn't even tempted.

I have been overweight since the first or second grade. I have lost and gained since then. I have figured out the I don't feel safe and getting unwanted attention when I'm thin.

Sixth session

Fifth session

I just finished my fifth session about moving up the emotional scale. It felt good to address my emotions and see where they are on the scale. The overall effect was of calm.

I started out the day finishing a green smoothie from yesterday. I went to the farmers' market and bought some beautiful kale for the upcoming week. Fourth Session

I just completed the fourth session. The tapping felt good after a stressful holiday weekend. I used the session to tap on a family member I was annoyed with on Saturday. I did a couple of rounds and it really helped.

Third session

I did my third eft session this afternoon. I have a problem with exercise so this was a good one. I added feeling stupid and feeling judged to the eft. These were tail enders for me. I feel more relaxed after the session.

I woke up early today. I wanted to go for a bike ride but was struggling with getting out the door. I called my friend and she said she would go with me. That was a huge help in getting me to go. I probably should have done eft before I left this morning :) I did a total of an… Continue

Second session

It's another beautiful day in my part of the world. I didn't sleep well last night. I got up this morning and had some high fiber cereal with strawberries, a little cream, blueberries, honey and flaxseeds. Then, I went for a 50 minute bike ride. There was a strong head wind so I worked hard.

A warm welcome to you! We look forward to helping you shed your extra fat and reach your other goals as well. I’m Dr. Nili’s co-administrator on this site and one of my jobs is to make sure you get your new member letters and sessions. We provide you with six special new member EFT sessions to get you started. After that you will receive the regular EFT sessions along with the other members.

Very Important Question

One of the most important questions you can ask is
“Does this suit my intentions?”

The word “this” refers to any choice you are making that affects your goals. In the store, when you have those cookies in your hand, ask yourself, “Does buying these suit my intentions?” If you are thinking of watching a movie rather than joining the EFT session, ask yourself “Does this choice suit my intentions?”

Let your higher self answer the question and make your best choice.

The more you ask the question, the more you will be guided by that smart voice that helps you maintain your commitment to yourself.

Gary Craig, EFT founder on what is EFT?


EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
is a method to release negative feelings naturally.
It is an emotional form of acupressure.
With your fingertips, you tap certain energy points on your body while you are "tuned in" to your problem.

Gary Craig, the founder of EFT:

"I hope this doesn't sound too grandiose, but I've been doing energy healing work since 1991 and my jaw still drops at the results. I've lost count of the number of phobias, panic/anxiety attacks, traumatic memories, guilt, grief and physical ailments that have been elegantly relieved (often in minutes) by this procedure. Even though EFT violates just about every conventional belief out there, the results remain remarkable. EFT isn't perfect, of course. We don't get 100%. But it usually works well and the results are sometimes spectacular. It often works where nothing else will.

We are still learning why EFT works so well. It centers around the profound effects of the body's subtle energies using the theory that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system. Accordingly, EFT is an emotional form of acupuncture except that we don't use needles. Instead, we tap with the fingertips to stimulate certain meridian energy points while the client is "tuned in" to the problem.

The subtle energies that circulate throughout the body have been largely ignored (until recently) by western scientists. As a result, our use of them for emotional and spiritual healing has been sparse at best. With EFT, however, we consider these subtle energies to be the front running cause of emotional upsets. As a result, we generate results that are FAR beyond those of conventional methods."
